Katya and Ryan’s courthouse elopement was incredible. Super laid-back, super them, and honestly, just really cool in the best way.
They got married at the Laguna Hills Civic Center on a sunny afternoon, and the whole vibe felt easy and fun from the start. Ryan’s a surfer and brought that mellow energy, while Katya showed up looking like a vintage dream. She wore a silky slip dress with lace details, paired with a vintage veil and beaded bag. I’m still thinking about.
They said their vows under the floral arch in a room with a beach mural (yes, really) and it somehow just worked. It was sweet and simple and full of smiles. Afterward, we wandered around the Civic Center and grabbed some fun/funky portraits, including an elevator shot that might be one of my favorites from the day.
No big production, no stress, just two people in love doing their thing and looking amazing while doing it. It was the kind of day that reminds you how special and personal weddings can be when you strip everything back and just focus on each other.
So grateful to have been a part of it.
